- MICHAEL J. SARRASIN ESQ
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
- With extensive experience in medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, and Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Sarrasin has been responsible for vision and strategy regarding all aspects of regulatory, clinical, legal, and quality assurance affairs for over 18 years. Prior to joining Celerus Diagnostics, he acted as VP, Regulatory, Legal and Quality Affairs for Dako, a leading producer of biochemical products. Mr. Sarrasin's previous positions include VP, Regulatory and Legal Affairs for LySonix, Inc., Director and General Counsel, Legal and Regulatory Affairs for Whalen Biomedical, Inc. and Manager, Regulatory Affairs for PolyMedica Pharmaceuticals. He holds a BA in Biology from Harvard University and a JD in Regulatory/Corporate Law from the Massachusetts School of Law.
- MARC KEY, PHD
CHIEF SCIENTIFIC OFFICER
- With over 25 years of experience in research, development and product development, Dr. Key has held senior positions with companies such as Dako Corporation and Biogenix Corporation. He has also retained various academic appointments and positions at The National Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, State University of New York and the University of South Carolina. Dr. Key has been responsible for R & D teams who have launched hundreds of products into the Pathology Market. He also holds some of the most significant patents in the field of IHC testing. Dr. Key had a BS from Iowa State University, an MS from the University of Montana and a PhD from the Medical University of South Carolina.
- ROBERT D. GIBBS CPA
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
- Mr. Gibbs contributes significant financial and operational experience to Celerus' management team. With seventeen years of financial expertise, he recently served as Controller of Dako's North American businesses. In addition to public accounting experience, Mr. Gibbs has held various senior financial roles with InfoGenesis and Time Warner Inc. He holds a BS in Finance/Accounting from California State University, Northridge and is a licensed CPA in California.
- DOUGLAS F. SWEET
VP SALES AND MARKETING
- A 30-year veteran in the diagnostic industry, Mr. Sweet has been responsible for Marketing and Sales in a number of companies in the Anatomic Pathology Market, including Dako, BioPath and Ventana Medical Systems. Prior to these endeavors, Mr. Sweet held senior management positions in Marketing/Sales at Molecular Devices, Syva (diagnostic division of Syntex), New England Nuclear, and Corning Medical. He has most recently been an advisor to several private entrepreneurial companies preparing to enter the diagnostics industry with products resulting from the Human Genome Project. Mr. Sweet holds a BS in Biology from the University of Oregon and an MBA from the Presidential/Key Executive program at Pepperdine University.
